Kitchens

The kitchen is in many ways the heart of the home. With small kitchens these spaces can be transformed to getaways with choice of color and furniture.  Especially when you have small families, alternative kitchen or living being very popular when he was resurrected for some children, the kitchen is more like “America,” which included decorating the dining room in the kitchen, more appropriate for intimate meetings and family. In both cases, the choices of the furniture may represent the taste of the cook and what he or she cooks for the family. A smaller dining table with larger chairs make a wonderful sitting area that call the family for dinner. Everything else comes at dinner time. People in the kitchen is all you need to complete the decor and atmosphere!

Hallways and Entrance ways

Think this is where visitors will have the first impression of your home. Houses these days tend to eliminate this part of the housing and the space allocated to the room. Either way, it has to decorate with a few elements and very well chosen: plant, a sculpture, or painting and good lighting are almost essential. This is where you welcome your guests to your little corner of the world.

The Bedrooms

  The basic furnishings of a bedroom is a bed, a couple of tables, a wardrobe and a chair. When there is not much space, you have to avoid occasional furniture, which hinder the space. In contrast, wardrobes produce amplitude effect. If you choose harmonious colors for the quilt, curtains, walls and floor, you get a sense of relaxation that will help you make a lovely space to slumber.

 Living room and dining room

1. Decorating the room is to identify the most common pathways,  trying to be keep free of obstacles. Place the lounge area near the windows, to make better use of sunlight.
2. Choose the furniture to fit the real space and not place boxes, tables and chairs that are too bulky. You’ll have to pay attention to the basics: a couch or sitting area, a shelf, table and chairs, a lamp and a coffee table to put in front of the couch. The roundtables are that will maximize space. Moreover, the choice of paintings, tapestries and curtains mark the style of the house.
3. Be careful combination of fabrics, carpets and decorative because they give a sense of order, amplitude and home. Using flowers and large prints make the room appear smaller.
4. Choose a sofa bed and will serve as a bed for guests.

Mirrors can reflect more room in smaller apartment bathroom spaces. Try framing your random mirrors in color enhancing frames and accessorize with colorful ribbons in pastel hues. You can also use garlands or flowers to decorate the mirror. Cover one wall of the bathroom with a large mirror to create an illusion of space and light.

Once you’ve decided your your colors, accessories and mood of your bathroom,  you can start to think about what style you would like. This is another great opportunity to mix it up and try a look that is different from the rest of your apartment. Is your apartment neutral and mellow? Go for bright bold colors and decorations in your bathroom. If the most of your apartment is already a bold color, try a serene spa-like bath with shades of greens and blues with candles and seashells perhaps.

Here’s one piece of warning advice for decorating an apartment bathroom — keep it light. Small spaces can quickly get crowded and look dark. Whether you are going for high energy or calming vibes, keep colors on the lighter side. Dark paint and shower curtains will make the room feel small. If you have a window inside your shower area, use a clear shower curtain to bring light into the room. You can also add small lamps, candles and mirrors to reflect light around the space and make your bathroom sparkle.
